Versatility in a functional and organised space
DESIGN
Bruno wanted something simple, something versatile that would be fun to decorate. He didn't want anything over-the-top or that would constrain the space in his small combined kitchen-living room.
That's why he preferred sophisticated, minimalist clean lines. We were pleased to come up with a design for his new kitchen. What we created was minimalist but also eye-catching in its shape.
Along the back we combined high and low cabinets with columns at each end, leaving a clear space in the middle for the sink.
This design also included an island with large 90cm drawers offering plenty of storage space. This is where the induction (or ceramic) hob was placed.
Materials
As for materials, we chose a mono-colour synthetic material in super matt beige and laminated chocolate knotted oak. The fronts feature integrated "J" handles of the same colour and we fitted a worktop of laminated HPL Calacata, which is that attractive marbled white colour.
This combination of colours and textures gives dimensionality and depth to the kitchen. It is minimalist in style but makes full use of the space to create a pleasant sensation of comfort thanks to the selection of colours.
